Some Fine Print

The minimum opening deposit for our 24-month WVFC Local Impact CDs is $1,000, and the maximum amount allowed is $25,000.
As part of the CD opening process, you'll sign a pledge agreement. In signing, you're confirming your understanding that the CD is pledged as collateral for Walden Mutual's loan to Webatuck Valley Farm Collaborative. In the event of a default (where the Webatuck Valley Farm Collaborative is unable to repay the loan), you are at risk of loss in value.
Our 24-month WVFC Local Impact CDs are set to automatically renew at maturity on the same term, but will not be pledged. When your 24-month WVFC Local Impact CD is approaching maturity, you'll receive a notice that will provide you options - including withdrawing your funds or changing the term to a different unpledged Local Impact CD. If you take no action, your Local Impact CD will automatically renew as an unpledged 24-month Local Impact CD.
This program is available for a limited time, and will close as of October 31, 2026.
