COMPENSATION:
HYBRID - WEEKLY IN-PERSON REQUIREMENTS IN NH
We're the first new mutual bank nationwide in 50 years.
We are developing deeper connections between communities and the ecosystems that sustain them. We accept deposits from individuals, businesses, and non-profits who want to drive positive and lasting change with their dollars. We lend those funds to impact-oriented organizations, with special focus on farms and food businesses. The word “mutual” in our name means cooperative; we are governed by our depositors, funded by those with a bias towards the long-term, and engineered to endure the test of time. Building bridges is core to who we are, as we believe more interconnected and localized ecosystems support better community resilience and economic viability.
We’re searching for an Operations Specialist to contribute to our growing Operations team, enabling a best-in-class experience for our partners. As a digital bank, you’ll combine technology and banking know-how to reimagine processes for efficiency and effectiveness. Across payments, risk, compliance, and more, you’ll innovate on existing operational models to create the infrastructure that enables our mission. The right candidate will be entrepreneurial, organized and task oriented. Friends of the right candidate might describe them as “strangely obsessed with banking stuff” and “really productive”. This individual will be part of a team, with opportunity for growth as our operational scope increases. The role is hybrid (generally 3 days per week in-person in Concord, NH).
What You'll Do:
- Provide daily operational support across functional areas, daily exception management, and transaction processing within production windows and internal SLAs. Daily activities include wire and ACH processing, mobile check deposit review and approvals, card maintenance, limits management, etc.
- Develop programs, processes, and tools necessary to support our partners’ digital banking and operational needs across lifecycle and service (i.e., online and mobile banking, debit cards, bill payment, wires, ACH origination, mobile deposit, and cash management services).
- Work with vendors for implementations, enhancements, updates, and resolutions relating to both our partner and employee experience; manage small projects related to these initiatives.
- Implement key service and performance metrics for each program and service.
- Operate independently, taking responsibility to ensure daily tasks are completed and resolutions identified, escalating issues as appropriate.
- Keep up to date with our products, services, and regulatory requirements.
- Complete required compliance-related bank training (and other related activities).
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent related experience, training, and certifications.
- 2-5 years of experience supporting digital banking and operations – as well as regulatory compliance requirements.
- Ability to work in a team environment, collaborating with other teammates – but also ability to operate independently with limited oversight.
- Strong attention to details and the ability to perform work accurately within assigned deadlines.
- Motivation to build and perpetually improve technology-enabled operational processes.
- Passion for our mission, to enable anyone to making positive and lasting change in the ecosystems that sustain us – beginning with food.
