POSTED:
COMPENSATION:
REMOTE/HYBRID (CONCORD, NH)
We're the first new mutual bank nationwide in 50 years.
We are developing deeper connections between communities and the ecosystems that sustain them. We accept deposits from individuals, businesses, and non-profits who want to drive positive and lasting change with their dollars. We lend those funds to impact-oriented organizations, with special focus on farms and food businesses. The word “mutual” in our name means cooperative; we are governed by our depositors, funded by those with a bias towards the long-term, and engineered to endure the test of time. Building bridges is core to who we are, as we believe more interconnected and localized ecosystems support better community resilience and economic viability.
We’re working to reimagine the status quo in banking by balancing our partners' experience with our risk and compliance duties - so that we grow with integrity. The Compliance/BSA Analyst will play an integral role supporting the Bank’s established compliance and risk management framework, with a focus on Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML, Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)/sanctions) monitoring, customer due diligence, compliance testing, and audit preparation. This role reports directly to our VP - Compliance, Audit, and BSA Officer and is a valuable opportunity to learn across the full spectrum of compliance responsibilities at an innovative, mission-driven institution.
We are looking for someone detail-oriented, inquisitive, and highly collaborative — who takes initiative, is reliable in follow-through, and is motivated by contributing to a compliance culture that enables safe growth and innovation. This role is accountable for adhering to the requirements of the BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, AML laws, OFAC rules, and all other applicable federal and state banking regulations. The Analyst is expected to keep current on relevant laws, escalate issues promptly, and support the Bank’s commitment to regulatory compliance and safe, sound banking.
This is a primarily remote position, with occasional in-person meetings or team gatherings required on a quarterly or as-needed basis. However, if you are in close proximity to Concord NH, there is opportunity to work in the office with other staff as you would like.
